What is Ps Tools?
  Ps tools refer to a set of popular tools used by system administrators. If you already have it just mention the folder path. Otherwise, the link is provided to you. Download the link and unzip or extract the Ps tools.
 
Is DocSmartz running in trial mode for the end users?
  DocSmartz runs in the trial version when the Power Server is not purchased or is not running on the server.
 
Why is my application in the trial version when the server is registered?
  You must ask your network administrator to check whether the DocSmartz_Admin.exe is running. If it is not running on Server side, please make the DocSmartz Power Server application run.

 
Why does the status say ‘IP not found’ in the grid?
  The status shows ‘IP not found’ in the grid as the remote system might be inaccessible.

 
In spite of the fact that client system is ‘On’ and server Admin exe is running, why does the grid show ‘deployment failed’?
  You must check the following: If the Workstation service is running (check using services.msc). Ensure that the Server service is running (check using services.msc). The Admin$ share should also be available (check using computer management). The Windows Network should be running. What is the minimum requirement on target machine to check before deploying on it?
  Apart from points described in ques 5, DocSmartz Power Server requires the Remote Registry service to be running on the remote computer. By default, this service is configured to be started manually. To configure the Remote Registry service to start automatically, run services.msc and change the Startup Type of the service (Remote Registry) to Automatic.
 
How can I have a record of installed IPs or IPs entered in the grid?
 

Click on the ‘View Log’ tab, you will find a complete record of the IPs that are entered. Execution time is also provided. The execution or deployment time refers to the time taken to install a product on the remote system.

   
How can I deploy DocSmartz on x64 machine?
 

You can deploy the DocSmartz on x64 machine by downloading the latest Ps Tools from site.
